Pre-requites There are no prerequisite qualification entry requirements to access this course but it is expected that candidates will have experience of working with children or have experience in the delivery of exercise programmes

This qualification is aimed at individuals (16+) who wish to run Health Related Exercise sessions for children and those who are already running such sessions without a formal qualification.

  • Warm ups and cooldowns
  • Psychological barriers for participation
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate a safe and effective childrens exercise programme
  • Appropriate motivational techniques
  • How to adapt sessions for children with special needs
Duration 2 weekends plus home study and blended learning
