What to bring to your Community Fitness Classes
We are always available before and after the class to answer any questions you may have, and if its its your first time we recommend you come along about 15 minutes beforehand so we can discuss your goals, answer any queries or give you a quick insight into the class structure and techniques.
To ensure you get the most out of your classes, we ask all participants to complete a PARQ (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) as well as to read and sign an Informed Consent. This enables your Instructor to advise you of the best way to have a safe and effective workout.

What to bring to your Community Fitness Classes:-
- Water bottle
- Suitable lightweight clothing
- Supportive, comfortable trainers
- Lots of enthausiasm and be prepared to have fun, achieve your goals and make new friends in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere!
What to bring to your Outdoor Bootcamps:-
- Outdoor Bootcamps from June to Oct
- Sessions run come rain or shine!
- Wear old full length tracksuit bottoms and long sleeved top (you may get muddy!)
- Bring a towel or gloves with grip
- Eat a light healthy snack and drink water prior to early morning sessions
- Indoor venues (Fitness Bootcamps) from Nov to May
- Expect to have great fun and leave on a high!
What to bring to your Beginners Running Group:-
- Proper running shoes are important, running in other trainers could cause injuries and make running uncomfortable.
- We recommend RUN SWINDON in Old Town as they can give you a proper analysis of your running type and make the best recommendation of shoe.
- Water bottle
- Changing facilities are available at Fitness First, Swindon
