What is a Bootcamp?

Bootcamp is a type of physical activity programme which can be conducted both indoors or outdoors and although around for many years these workouts are starting to grow again in popularity.  The term Bootcamp is currently being used in the fitness industry to describe group fitness classes that promote fat loss and massive increases in fitness levels through personal challenges, partner drills, and camaraderie and team effort

We at bpm active have created ‘Swindon Bootcamps’ a one-stop shop for all your health and fitness needs regardless of ages, ability or fitness level.  We have devised several results driven and effective programmes that will help you achieve your goals whilst having fun at the same time.  They are designed to push people a little bit further than they would normally push themselves in the gym alone, plus at a snip of the price of a personal trainer!

Bootcamp training programmes take place over 4, 6 or 7 week blocks and can include some running and interval training to promote fat loss and cardio health as well as strength training using body weight and some of the most funkiest new equipment around! 

Certain programmes as the Weight Loss Bootcamp will include specific nutritional advice and you will have your own personal trainer on hand for any assistance or professional advice and to ensure you are keeping on track.

Each programme allows everyone to exercise at their own pace and provides social support through teamwork, small teams or partner challenges.  Some programmes such as the Fitness Bootcamp will provide specific fitness tests at the start and again at the end so you can see your gains in fitness and loss of body fat!

Expect to have a great time, be pushed to a higher level of fitness than you would in a gym on your own and leave each workout on a high! If that sounds like your kind of exercise programme, we would love to meet you!
